As a physical therapist, running coach, and former D2 collegiate track and cross country athlete, Clay is uniquely able to help frustrated runners anywhere on the rehab-performance spectrum.

Clay’s primary focus as a clinician is to keep his clients performing at their best while rehabbing their injuries. 

With 19 years of  CSRA road races, Clay, a former Augusta State University Jaguar cross-country and track athlete, previous coordinator of an Augusta running club, and previous local running store employee, embodies a local runner through-and-through.

For over 15 years, Logan has helped individuals from all backgrounds gain strength, increase resiliency, and reach performance goals.

Combining his physical therapy education, personal training experience, strength sport background, and years of distance running, Logan continuously strives to improve his coaching philosophies to be as effective as possible with runners.

We’ve merged decades of competitive running experience, physical therapy education, and specialized research to develop our treatment methods.

This multifaceted approach helps us and our clients avoid all the common pitfalls runners typically face within the restrictive insurance based model.

  • Cookie-cutter, pre-made exercise programs only partially relevant to your goals and training
  • Overemphasizes rest so you'll get deconditioned while rehabbing your injury and are unsure of your ability to train adequately
  • Re-assessments occur every 4 weeks and are primarily based on outcome measures requested by insurance companies who don't understand your goals or preferences
  • See multiple therapists who often aren't aligned with their treatment strategies or patient goals due to a busy outpatient environment

Consultation

15-minutes

Free

This video or phone consultation will allow Dr. Holton to hear your story, training and injury history, current goals, and other health-related information to determine if our services are right for you and answer any questions you may have.

Physical Therapy Evaluation

60-75 minutes

$200

A thorough evaluation is critical to determine your strengths, weaknesses, and any other health/training factors. This evaluation will include assessments of pain during activities, full lower extremity and torso strength, range of motion and mobility, neuromuscular control with running-specific tasks, and more.

Physical Therapy Treatment Sessions

60 minutes

$150/each

 Treatment sessions will be based on information obtained from the consult, initial evaluation, response to current treatment, home exercise prescription, and current goals.
